DESCRIPTION

* WHAT…For the Winter Weather Advisory below 1000 feet, hail and snow expected. Total snow accumulations of up to one inch. Winds gusting as high as 50 mph. For the Winter Storm Watch below 1000 feet, heavy snow possible. Total snow accumulations of up to 4 inches possible.

* WHERE…Coastal Del Norte and Northern Humboldt Coast Counties.

* WHEN…For the Winter Weather Advisory, from 1 PM Tuesday to 7 PM PST Wednesday. For the Winter Storm Watch, from Wednesday evening through Thursday afternoon.

* IMPACTS…Travel could be very difficult to impossible. The hazardous conditions could impact the morning or evening commute. Gusty winds could bring down tree branches.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…Snow and hail accumulating on area roadways will result in hazardous driving conditions.
